Young Gun Fletcher signs extension at Hibs

Latest news from Easter Road is that Steven Fletcher, Hibs 19 year old Striker, has agreed to a new five year contract which will keep him tied to Hibernian till the year 2011.
Fletch is seemingly going to put pen to paper on his return from action with the Scotland U 21's

Excellent news for us Hibees, especially at his time of the year, what with the papers tending to concentrate on where this or that Hibs player is going, anywhere rather than stay at Hibs it seems.

The latest media rumours include Bolton and Sheffield United being linked with Hibs midfield duo Scot Brown and Kevin Thomson, but Hibs manager Tony Mowbray has said that neither of the two clubs mentioned have made any official approach to the club.

If any clubs are interested then they are leaving it a tad late IMHO as the transfer window in Scotland closes at midnight tomorrow.

If there is no development with regards these rumours and both Broonaldo and Thomson are still at Hibs come the 1st September then that will be a great birthday present for this erm, young Hibby who'll be 42 years young on that very day.
