Hibs have today announced that they will face off against English side Blackburn Rovers in Paul Hanlon's Testimonial match.
Hanlon made his debut for the Hibees back in 2008 in a Scottish Cup clash with Inverness at Easter Road. He has gone on to make over 340 appearances and scored 20 goals.
He has also become a club legend, following the Scottish Cup triumph back in 2016.
The game with the Lancashire club will take place at Easter Road on Sunday, July 8th, with a 3 pm kick off.
Blackburn are, of course, managed by former Hibs boss Tony Mowbray, who managed the club from 2004-2006.
Mowbray built a cracking side at Easter Road, leading the club to a 3rd place finish in the SPL, with the former Celtic player winning the 2005 Scottish Football Writers’ Association Manager of the Year award in the process.
He left the club to take charge of West Brom in 2006.
