Alen Orman has received his first international call up - for Austria.
The 24 year old could have turned out for Bosnia or Nigeria as well, but is delighted to receive the call up by Austia boss Hans Krankl for the friendly versus Norway.
Orman said: ""This is fantastic news for me and I have been working very hard over the past two years to get this chance. I know the assistant manager Slavko Kovacevic came to watch me against Rangers when I had the fit. At first I didn't even think about Austria, I was more concerned for my future. But then I was sure I could live with it and carry on as before. They came to watch me again against Hearts and were happy with my performance and that has led to this call- up."
Alen, who is Bosnian by birth, an Austrian national and married to a Nigerian girl, continued: "It's going to be a very proud evening for me and all my family and friends will be in Vienna to see the match. Since coming to Scotland I think I have improved as a player and I would like to thank all my managers - Alex McLeish, Franck Sauzee and Bobby Williamson have all taught me a lot and I owe them."
