Bobby Williamson has said that if the powers that be impose a fine on him for his outburst at referee Mike McCurry, he won't pay up.
BW accused McCurry of bias and incompetence after he refused us a stonewall penalty against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday. Rangers held on to win 2-1.
When asked if he expected to be in hot water following his outburst, Bobby said "I’m not expecting anything. What have I done wrong? I was asked to give my comments on the incident and I did. I am not expecting to be brought to book for expressing my opinion."
And when asked on what would happen if he received a fine, he said: "I’m not paying it. The referee said the handball was unintentional. I disagreed with that. I am allowed to express my own opinion. I will contest any fine."
Good for you Bobby. You're showing you're passionate about the club, and that you're a football fan as well as a boss.
Meanwhile, Garry O'Connor is expected to be out for at least six weeks after breaking a bone in his foot in the match on Sunday. Have a speedy recovery Garry.
