Again, we're robbed by the Mould Firm
Ulrik Laursen has completed his move to Celtic this afternoon, for a fee said to be in the region of £2m.

Ulrik was said to be 'delighted' at the move. Well, bully for you Ulirik.

In other news, Mixu Paatelainen has said that Franck Sauzee's sacking stopped him coming back to Easter Road in a player-coach role. Mixu said: "I had agreed to come back to Hibs as a player/coach, but then Franck got sacked and everything changed. I had already agreed to move back to Scotland from France because I had a good relationship with Franck, and he felt my experience would help. But obviously things didn't go as well as Franck had hoped. Then Hibs decided to bring Bobby in and, of course, as he was entitled to do, he brought in his own men."

There have been rumours going around that Mixu would sign on in the wake of Craig Brewster's departure, and while nothing has happened as yet, Mixu says he would like to have a second spell in Edinburgh. "The manager did say I done well in pre-season but I haven't played any games since I left Strasbourg. I'm out of contract and although I would love to stay at Hibs I don't know if I will get that option. The manager certainly hasn't offered me anything as yet. I do have a few options in Scotland and abroad but we are still negotiating and we'll have to wait and see what happens."

Personally, I think it would be wrong to bring Mixu back. The man did a good job for us, but that time is over now. We should be looking to the future. I would be quite disappointed if BW gets the go ahead to sign some players and goes for ex players, veterans past their best, instead of some excited new blood. But saying that, if Mixu does sign, he'll get my support, 100%.
