Hibs boss Tony Mowbray today revealed that centre half Shelton Martis will be fit for the trip to Parkhead on Saturday to face Celtic.

Martis picked up a knock in last night's 4-0 win over Peterhead in the CIS League Cup at Easter Road and was taken off as a precaution after 60 mins.

Martis hobbled off and was replaced by the action packed Jay Shields, but will be back in training tomorrow morning ahead of the trip to face Celtic in Glasgow.

Hibs boss Mogga said:

"
Shelton had ice on his calf at half-time and we did not want to take any chances. At 3-0 we felt the game was won and with a game at the weekend we didn't want to take a chance with anyone who had a knock.

"He'll be fine and back training tomorrow."

23-year-old Dutchman Martis recently joined Hibs on a free transfer from
Darlington, after being voted player of the year at the Quakers.
