Hibs Sign Abdessalam Benjelloun

Moroccan striker Abdessalam Benjelloun has finally signed on the dotted line for Hibs.

Benjelloun, 21 has been training with the club for 10 weeks, awaiting news on a work permit and after a load of nonsense has signed a "long term contract".

Hibs Chairman Rod Petrie & Manager Tony Mowbray were at a Football review panel at Hampden, to plead his case and were successful in gaining "Benji" a work permit.

The player nicknamed "Benji" has integrated into the dressing room well, and was called up to the full Moroccan International Squad, but had to pull out through injury.


Tony Mowbray also revealed that is very excited by the signing and that "Benji" will also go straight into first team contention.
