Hibs are tonight closing in on the signing of QPR goalkeeper Dillon Barnes.
The 24-year-old was at East Mains this afternoon and is expected to sign a loan deal until the end of the season.
Barnes is expected to sign over the next 48 hours and will challenge No.1 Ofir Marciano for a spot in the team.
His arrival should also mean that young Polish keeper Kevin Dabrowski will probably head out on another loan deal for some much needed experience.
6ft 4in stopper Barnes started his career with Fulham, before moving to Colchester Untied.
He has had loan spells with lower league clubs like Farnborough and Welling.
Barnes joined QPR from Colchester United on a two-year-deal last summer.
He has played over 60 times in his career so far.

This move makes a lot of sense.
It adds some much needed experience to challenge No.1 Rocky.
It also means the Hibees could send out young keeper Kevin Dabrowski, who started the season as back-up, on a loan deal to gain more experience.
Barnes could face a tough time getting in the side, but it's good to keep Marciano on his toes.
