Hibs manager Tony Mowbray today revealed that Hibs midfield genius Kevin Thomson will be the new club captain.
Thomson takes over from Gary Caldwell, who left Hibs for Celtic on a bosman at the end of the season.
It was though the race to be captain would be between French playmaker Guillaume Beuzelin and left back David Murphy, but Mowbray has surprised everyone by naming Thomson, 21, as the new captain.
