Hibs midfielder Stephen Glass has joined SPL strugglers Dunfermline on loan until the end of the season.

Glass, 30, who can play in midfield or as a left back is expected to go straight into the Pars squad for Saturday's SPL clash with Dundee Utd at Tannadice.

The winger has one and half years left on his contract at Easter Road and this looks like it could be the end of his career at Hibs.

Glass has struggled to get into the Hibs starting line up this season and has had to battle with the likes of Stewart, Zemmama, Sproule, Thomson, Brown & Beuzelin for a place.

Dunfermline manager Stephen Kenny is delighted with his capture and said:

"He's a very creative player and we probably need that creative spark a little bit".

Hibs signed Glass from Watford in 2003 after he had spells with Newcastle United & Aberdeen.
