Last updated : 29 September 2006 By Steve Forbes

Hibs midfield dynamo Scott Brown has been called up to Walter Smith's Scotland squad for the up coming Euro 2008 qualifiers against Ukraine and France.

Brown was called into the last Scotland squad for the game against Lithuania(Hearts) after a number of call up's, despite calls for him to be included from the start.

Brown however didn't even get on the bench for the Lithuania game.

Brown has one Scotland cap to his name so far, which he picked up in a friendly against the U.S.A at Hampden.

WELL DONE SCOTT!

The Scotland squad in full is:

Goalkeepers:

Neil Alexander (Cardiff City)
Paul Gallacher (Norwich City)
Craig Gordon (Heart of Midlothian)

Defenders:

Graham Alexander (Preston North End)
Russell Anderson (Aberdeen)
Gary Caldwell (Celtic)
Christian Dailly (West Ham United)
Stephen McManus (Celtic)
Kevin McNaughton (Cardiff City)
Graeme Murty (Reading)
Robbie Neilson (Heart of Midlothian)

There's a couple of surprises in the squad, with Cardiff's Kevin McNaughton being called up and a surprise in Norwich City's Paul Gallacher coming in to replace Motherwell's brilliant keeper Graeme Smith.

Rangers midfielder Barry Ferguson is also back in the squad after a number of months out injured.
