Hibs have today been linked with a possible deadline day swoop for QPR striker Macauley Bonne.
The Zimbabwe international spent last season on loan with Ipswich Town, scoring 12 goals in 46 games in League One, and still seems to be out-of-favoyr at Loftus Road.
Hibs would face competition for his signature, with Bolton Wanderers, Shrewsbury Town and Ipswich all interested in the player.
QPR boss Michael Bealehas said Bonne could leave the London club for "The right offer", and with Christian Doidge having already headed out on loan to Kilmarnock, the Hibees need a striker.
Reports suggest talks have already begun with Swindon Town over prolific striker Harry McKirdy, but should a deal fail to materialise, Hibs could turn their attention to Bonne?
Bonne is an experienced player, having played 326 times in his career and scoring 92 goals.
He started his career with Colchester United and has also played for the likes of Charlton Athletic, Ipswich Town and Leyton Orient.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
On paper Bonne looks a good option for the Hibees, our squad is crying out for more experience, and he has a decent scoring record.
With Doidge now out the door, Hibs will have to mve uickly to sign up a replacement before tommorow night's deadline.
McKirdy seems to be the number one target, but Hibs boss Lee Johnson may move for Bonne should that deal fail.
Unless of course Hibs owner Ron gordon releases more funds and we sign two?
However it seems to be one in, one out just now, and the Hibees are crying out for a centre half and possibly another centre midfielder.
