According to today's Daily Record, Hibs are just one of a host of clubs considering a move for Newcastle United keeper Freddie Woodman.
The 21-year-old has already had loan spells in Scotland with both Kilmarnock and Aberdeen and is being considered by the Hibees.
Hibs will have competition for his signature should they decide to make a move, with both Aberdeen and Hearts also monitoring the situation.
Woodman impressed in the recent Toloun tournament, which England won and its thought Newcastle are keen for him to go out on loan again to continue his development.
Hibs boss Neil Lennon is in the market for a keeper, having just lost backup Cammy Bell, and with Ross Laidlaw still on the sidelines.
No.1 Ofir Marciano is the only other keeper at Easter Road, but there is reports circulating that he needs to go for an operation on an injured finger and could possibly miss the start of the season.
