Hibs in talks with THREE keepers???

Last updated : 19 May 2007 By Steve Forbes

According to some areas of the press Hibs boss John Collins is lining up Killie keeper Graeme Smith as his fourth pre-contract agreement signing of the summer.

Smith, 24, is out of contract in the summer and it seems Collins could be eyeing up the player.

Collins is after a new keeper or two after a clanger infested season for the three keepers that have been used at Easter Road this season, Zibi Malkowski, Simon Brown and Andy McNeil.

Hibs are also thought to be once again in talks with Chelsea reserve keeper Yves Makaba-Makalamby.

Makalamby, 20, was up Easter Road in January to try to impress Hibees boss John Collins and it seems he succeed.

What isn't clear though is if 6ft 7in Makalamby will be allowed to leave
Chelsea or if it would be a loan deal.

www.Hibernian-mad.co.uk also understands that Hibs could also be in talks with a mystery keeper from the English Premiership about a possible season long loan move to Easter Road, but information is sketchy so stay tuned for more news on this.
