Following on from the news that French striker Dominique Malonga is on trial at East Mains, Hibs boss Alan Stubbs has invited another player along for trial.
Freed Celtic defender Lewis Toshney has become the latest player to train with the Hibees.
The 22-year-old has just spent a trial period with Hearts without winning a deal, and will now try his luck with Edinburgh''s top club.
Toshney left Parkhead in the summer after 3 years, but only made 1 appearance for the Glasgow club.
While with Celtic the Scotland U17, U19 & U21 international had two loan spells away from the club, first of all with Kilmarnock and then Dundee. Toshney played over 40 games in those two loan spells.
The 6ft 2in defender can play either right back or centre half and will now use the next week in an attempt to impress Alan Stubbs.
In other news, trialist Matty Pattison has left Easter Road without winning a deal.
