Hibs Get Valencia Centre Half Berna On Trial!

Hibs gaffer Tony Mowbray has invited Valencia stopper BERNA for a trial at Easter Road.

Berna, 24, (Pictured above left) is captain of Valencia B and joined training on Monday morning and is expected to stay until Hibs leave for the Intertoto Cup clash with Odense on Thursday.

He joined Valencia from Real Madrid a couple of seasons back.

Hibs have also kept one of the Moroccan trialists for longer, to give him more time to earn a deal, but have sent the other one home.

Merouane Zemama, 22, who plays for Raja Casablanca, has been at Easter Road for a month and the midfielder has been given longer to impress, but his compatriot Abderrahmane Mssassi has been told he won't be getting a deal and has decided to head to Southend for a trial.
