Hibs Enter Race For Hull City Striker Darryl Duffy!!!

Last updated : 28 December 2006 By Steve Forbes

It has been reported in today's press that Hibs are to enter the race for Hull City striker Darryl Duffy.

The 22-year-old hitman has found it difficult to settle since moving to
Hull City from Falkirk 12 months ago and it is though Hibs boss John Collins is keen to bring Duffy to Easter Road.

Duffy was a revelation at
Falkirk after leaving Rangers and scored a barrow load of goals for the Bairns before moving South, which forced him onto the fringes of the Scotland squad.

Duffy has spent the last couple of months on loan at League 2 side
Hartlepool and has got himself back in amongst the goals after hitting four goals in eight games.

It is thought Hibs will fight it out with Swansea & Bristol City (surely there can only be one winner??) for the players signature, although Falkirk are thought to be monitoring the situation, as it is now thought that the Bairns scoring sensation Anthony Stokes WILL return to Arsenal after spending half the season on loan at Falkirk.

Whether this rumour is true or not remains to be seen, but Duffy has proven he can handle it in the SPL and could prove a master stroke signing if Hibs boss John Collins was to make his move.

What do you think of the news Hibs could be making a move for ex Falkirk star Duffy????
