Hibs boss Tony Mowbray today agreed to become the new manager of West Bromwich Albion.

Mogga will take in the Baggies next two games then take over on Wednesday as the new WBA boss.

Mowbray has been in charge of Hibs for two and a half years and will be a huge loss to the club.

Mowbray signed a new rolling one-year contract at Hibs only a week ago and his sudden departure has disappointed the Hibs support, who loved his style of management.

Mowbray had Hibs playing the most exciting football seen in this country for years.

But one man doesn't make a club, we still have a cracking side and face mini Lithuania on Sunday in the first Edinburgh derby of the season.

C'MON HIBS GET WIRED INTO THEM!

Early front runners for the vacant Hibs post are ex players John Collins, Mixu Paatelainen & John Hughes(please god no!).

Other names being mentioned at this stage are Nottingham Forest first team coach Ian McParland, England legend Alan Shearer(see The Bounce) & ex Scottish Internationalist Gary McAllister.

A poll on the Edinburgh Evening News website even threw up ALEX MCLEISH as the favoured choice!
