Hibs Boss Mowbray Says West Brom Rumours Are Rubbish.

Hibs boss Tony Mowbray today moved to rubbish reports that he was on the verge of becoming the new West Bromwich Albion boss and that himself and assistant Mark Venus had impressed at a SECOND interview.

Mowbray denies even having the first one!

Mowbray
has been linked with the manager's post at The Hawthorns since Bryan Robson left the post last month.

Mogga turned down the chance to become the new manager of
Ipswich Town at the start of the season citing "unfinished business" at Easter Road.

The Hibs boss said today:

"If I've had a second interview I'd like to know when the first one was. I've had no contact with West Brom and I am not anticipating any."

"I do not know who is doing the talking but I know from having spoken to Rod that there has been no contact.

"That's why this speculation is irritating for me. I do not know anything, it's been rumbling on for a few days now and it will only go away when West Brom sort things out."
