Hibs have annouced a pre-tax profit of £100,000 in their annual accounts released today.
The Hibees have made losses in the last two years, but have once again returned to the black for the year ending 31st July 2013.
The club has also announced it has reduced it debts by £900,000 from £6.4m to £5.5m, while also reducing the wages to turnover ratio to 49%, this was due to positive cash flow, due to increased crowds, and the scheduled repayments on loans.
Turnover increased by £1.1m to £8m from £6.9m, helped mostly by a higher leage finish to 7th from 11th the year before, leading to more prize money for the higher finish.
Hibs chief Rod Petrie, speaking to the club's official website said:
"The return to profit is a welcome improvement on the previous two years, and gives the club a solid platform for future sporting success."
Excellent news from the club.
