Hibs After Motherwell Striker Scott McDonald????

It is thought Hibs are about to enter the race for Motherwell's Australian hitman Scott McDonald.

McDonald, 22, has recently handed in a transfer request at
Fir Park after failing to make the Aussie squad for the World Cup.

McDonald feels his career has stalled this season and that he needs a fresh challenge after going stale at Motherwell.

It is thought he is keen to stay in Bonnie Scotland.

Hibs boss Tony Mowbray has some cash to spend after the sale of Gary O'Connor to Lokomotiv Moscow for £1.6m.

It is also thought that it will be a straight fight between Hibs & Hearts for his signature and that the player would be eager to move to either club.

McDonald would be a cracking signing IMHO.
