Word from Easter Road is that Hibs are wanting to keep the services of Moroccan Midfielder Merouane Zemmama, 22, who last played for Raja Club Athletic de Casablanca who are past winners of the African cup, 1997 and 1999 to be exact.
The situation with the work permit is very similar to the situation when Hibs signed Moroccan striker Benji, at the end of last season and word from the dressing room, especially amongst the Hibs midfield contingent is that they don't want him to sign, as they know one of them will be losing there place, a joke from the midfield lads
BTW
The respected Hibs youth Guru John Park has also been heard to say that Merouane is one of the best midfielders that he has seen at Easter Road and that is very exciting news indeed considering we already have Boozy, Broonaldo and Captain Thomo in the midfield already.
This could explain the reason why Antonio Murray has been told he can find another club as it would free up some wages in Hibs tight budget for the season.
Wherever Antonio ends up we at Hibernian-mad wish him all the best and it's a shame it didn't work out for him with us at Easter Road.

Anyway here's hoping that Hibs get the relevant paperwork sorted out so we can see Merouane in action for the Hibees ourselves
