Once again this week Hibs-mad are saddened to report the passing of another Hibernian great in Bobby Smith who passed away last night losing his fight against cancer aged just 56.

Bobby was born in Dalkeith on the 21/12/1953 and joined Hibs from Musselburgh Windsor.
He made his Hibs debut against Arbroath at Gayfield in November '72 when he come on as a sub in a 3-2 victory and Bobbies last game for Hibs was also away this time at Dens Park against Dundee in December '86 in a game Hibs lost 2-0

Bobby was a commentators dream as there was no mistaking him what with the perm and tache that he adorned and it was that hair do that led to his likeable nickname of 'The Perminator'
