Finally......Good news for Hibs!

Former Scotland head coach Craig Brown has given Hibs a massive boost for the 2002/2003 season.

Deepdale bound? I doubt it!
The new Preston North End boss was asked if he would look north of the border for signing targets, and told the Daily Mirror: "There are one or two players we have our eye on. I don't want to stir the fans up by saying who I'm trying to sign. But we're looking at quality guys".

While this may look bad for most other clubs outside the Old Firm, we can rest assured the wee man isn't going to try and plunder any of the talent at Easter Road.

Brown done a fantastic job of ignoring Hibs players when selecting his Scotland squads, instead going for lesser players either in Scotland, or in the English 1st division.

Most Hibees cannot forget how he continually ignored John O'Neil, even though he was the best midfielder Scotland had at the time, and went with his 'Old Guard'. He only got one outing, against Poland.

So, with that in mind, this can only mean that he's gonna try and get players for other clubs, therefore weakening their squads, while we stand strong!

Three cheers for Craig Brown! He's finally going to do Hibs a turn!!!
