Colgan - I've proven I'm the No 1 at Easter Road

Nick Colgan has today spoken about losing his place to Tony Caig - and then winning it back.
The Republic of Ireland international has been in sparkling form recently, and has been a major part of our resurgence, showing the kind of form he did when we finished third. Indeed, in our last match against Aberdeen, Nick had to get down to make a fine stop from Derek Young, and said: "We were under the cosh a bit against Aberdeen in the first half but I didn't really have too much to do in the game except for one save from Young."
He continued: "I am happy to be in the right place at the right time in games at the moment. Sometimes you can go games without that happening. None of my saves have been spectacular or anything but some of them have been important."
Colgan admitted he doesn't know much about Tony Caig's proposed move to Premiership giants Newcastle, but that was never at the forefront of his mind. "I don't know what Tony's situation is and whether he is going to Newcastle but I made up my mind to show the gaffer he had made a mistake. Hopefully I have done that and the team can go on and try to get into Europe again."
