Brown & Thomson NOT Going Anywhere!

Hibs today issued a hands off warning to potential suitors off midfielders Scott Brown & Kevin Thomson.

It is thought that Sheffield United had offered £1m for Scott Brown and that they were also interested in Kevin Thomson and that Hibs had dismissed both enquires.

United boss Neil Warnock said:

"Hibs have given us their valuation of the player and we have our valuation and there is quite a big gap. It was the same with their other young midfielder Kevin Thomson."

"I would say that it is extremely unlikely that anything will now happen before the deadline"

It was also reported in some sections of the media this morning that Bolton Wanderers were willing to pay £4m for the Hibs pair, but Hibs would only receive £2m up front and another £2m after they had made so many appearances for
Bolton.

It was also reported on a minor radio talk show, that Celtic are about to penny pinch again and offer £1.5m and a couple off diddy reserves for BOTH!!!!!!

Hibs have moved this afternoon to rubbish all three stories.

Hibs boss Tony Mowbray said this afternoon:

"Kevin and Scott have had to deal with this sort of thing for a while but I'd suggest it hasn't been too unsettling for them. My message to them, as it has always been, is to strive to be the best they can and that's what they've been getting on with.

"They are both bright boys and they know that if something is going to happen it will happen. But I'm not anticipating them going anywhere."

GOOD STUFF!
