English Premiership side Bolton Wanderers this afternoon confirmed there interest in Hibs & Scotland midfield dynamo Scott Brown.
Brown, 21, has seen his stock rise significantly since his impressive appearances for
www.Hibernian-mad.co.uk understands Hibs turned down £4.1m bids from both Rangers and Celtic just before January's transfer window shut and that the Hi-Bees could now be looking for up to £5m for Brown.
Bolton Wanderers assistant manager Ricky Sbragia told today's Scottish Daily Mail:
"I don't think there is any doubt Scott Brown is capable of playing in the Premiership.
"We were aware of him and Kevin Thomson at Hibs and it was good to see him at international level.
"He stepped up well and looked to start solidly against Italy."
"It all comes down to money at the end of the day and what kind of player we decide we need," added Sbragia.
"What I would say is, you don't like someone to sign for someone else when you've not taken a serious look at them yourselves."
It would be a big loss to lose Scott Brown, but THIS is the sort of move he should be looking for, not one along the M8, there's no doubt he is good enough to play in the Premiership.
