Hibees influential midfielder Scott Brown has been called into the Scotland squad for our upcoming friendly against the USA at Hampden on 12 November.
Scott Joins Gary Caldwell, Derek Riordan and Gary O'Connor in the 24 strong squad for a game that was last played way back in 1952 when Scotland won 6-0 which included a hat-trick from a certain Hibbees legend Lawrie Reilly.
Since 1952 there have been three metings between the countries but they have all been on US soil and the standings there are one 0-0 draw and each country with a win under their belts.
Good to see that all the excellent work by Brown has not gone unnoticed by the Scotland manager Walter Smith.
