UYL - Molde 1-0 Hibs

Hibs U19 side suffered a narrow defeat tonight, as they faced off against Molde in the Uefa Youth League.

The young Hibees losing out 1-0 through a free-kick from Johan Bakke.

It's the Hibees first time in the competition since it began in 2013.

Both tems had a player red carded, Jacob MacIntyre the guilty party for the men in green.

Hibs played well and probably deserved to score, and had some good chances, but it wasn't to be.

It's anyone's tie leading into the second leg, played at Easter Road on Wednesday October 5th at Easter Road.

Hibs U19s: Johnson, McCulloch (Landers 69'), Owen Hastie, Jacob Blaney, Kanayo Megwa, Murray Aiken, J. MacIntyre, Hamilton, O’Connor (Khan 82'), Molotnikov, O.MacIntyre.

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

The young Hibees can be proud of their performance, they fought from the first to the last whistle nd are still in the tie.

Let's hope they can get through in the second leg.
