Hibs U19 side put in an incredible performace this evening, as they progressed to the next round of the Uefa Youth League.
The Hibees beat Norwegain side Molde 2-1 at Easter Road, after losing the first leg 1-0 in Norway, taking the game to extra time and penaltes, with Hibs running out 5-4 winners from the spot.
In-front of an incredible crowd of 3,130 at Easter Road the Hibees took the lead through Jacob Laney, with the game at 1-0 (1-1) going into half time.
Hibs continued to play very well and took the lead through midfielder Malik Zaid on 64 mins.
Just when it looked like the wee Hibees were heading through, Molde scored on the 85th minute to take it to extra time.
There was no more goals in ET and the game went to penalties.
Murray Aiken, Jacob Blaney, Etahn Laidlaw, Robbie Hamilton and Oscar MacIntyre all scored from the spot, with Hibs keeper Murray Johnson saving from Bakke on Molde's thrid penalty - Hibs heading through 5-4 on pens.
The young Hibees will now play French side Nantes in the hext round.
