Turkish side Trabzonspor have become the first side this summer to confirm their interest in Hibs forward Jason Cummings.
The Süper Lig side, who finished a dissapointing 12th last season, are on the look-out for exciting younger talent, and it seems Cummings fits the bill.
Cummings, 20, only has a year left on his contract, but the Hibees are keen to tie him down to a longer deal, and keep him at Easter Road.
Trabzonspor Vice-president Nevzat Aydin said:
“Jason Cummings is a possibility. He is on our list of transfer targets and we are hoping to conclude a deal for him.
“We need a minimum of six new players, and I can assure our supporters we are looking everywhere.
“We hope to be in a position to announce them in the coming weeks.”
Trabzonspor will face a lot of competition for his signature, Wolves have already been linked with a £1m summer bid for the Scotland U21 player.
Swansea City, Cardiff City, Middlesbrough, Leeds Utd, Rotherham, Derby County, Brighton and Rangers have all, already, been linked with the player.
Cummings has scored 48 goals in 108 appearances for the Hibees.
