Hibs boss Terry Butcher has tonight moved to deny that he is interested in signing freed Barnsley forward Jason Scotland.
Reports in a couple of today's tabloids, had Scotland high on Butcher's wanted list, but the manager has revealed that the Hibees have no interest.
Speaking to STV News he said:
"It's a little bit naughty when agents use or people use my name or the club's name to stimulate interest in their clients.
"It's frustrating when you can't get players on board that no-one knows about. We're trying to do it like that.
"But when names are thrown at you that you are not interested in and don't want to take on board, it's frustrating. But you just have to get on with it, it's part of the game."
