Sunderland have today been linked with a move for Hibs pair John McGinn & Jason Cummings.
According to the Sunderland Echo, Black Cats manager David Moyes wasat Tannadice on Friday night, on a spying mission, as the Hibees beat promotion rivals Dundee Utd 0-1.
Moyes was apparently keeping tabs on THREE players. Cummings, McGinn and Efe Ambrose - on loan with the Hibees from Celtic.
The English Premiership side would need to get their cheque book out for Cummings & McGinn, with the Hibees having already turned down a £1.7m bid from Peterbrough for Cummingsin the summer. McGinn would also command a high fee, having made his international breakthrough.
Cummings, 21, signed a 4 year deal last summer, and McGinn, 22, would still have 2 years left on his deal when the transfer window opens in the summer.
Ambrose on the other hand will be a free agent come the summer, with Celtic not offering a new deal, his Parkhead career looks over.
