Hibs have today confirmed that veteran defender Steven Whittaker will leave the club when his deal ends in the summer.
Whittaker, 35, will end his second spell at Easter Road when his deal runs out this June.
Steven, of course, came through the Hibees youth academy before a £2m move to Rangers in 2008, a spell with Norwich City in the English Premiership then followed, before he rejoined the Hibees on a three-year-deal in the summer of 2017.
He was, of course, part of the Hibees 2007 CIS Cup winning side and will always be welcomed back at Easter Road anytime.
Whittaker made 243 appearances for the Hibees over his two spells, scoring 7 goals.
He was also capped 31 times for Scotland.

It's sad to see Steven go, he was an excellent player for the Hibees, and will always be a legend at the club, as he was part of the 2007 CIS Cup winning side.
Hopefully we may see him back at Easter Road in some capacity in the future.
At 35 his best days were probably behind him, but he may not be finished yet.
He has had an incredible career, winning a trophy at every club he played for, represented his country and played in a European final.
Thanks for everything Steven.
