According to reports in today's press, it looks as though Steven Whittaker has played his last game for the Hibees.
Apparently Steven Whitaker's agent, Ken Anderson, has revealed that Middlesbrough & Blackburn Rovers have joined Rangers in the chase for the Hibs right back.
Whittaker, 23, is expected to command a fee approaching £2m after being a regular in the side since 2004.
The Scotland U-21 star has made 173 appearances for Hibs and is the last of a group of exciting kids that broke through in to the same Easter Road side together to leave the club.
