It's with sadness tonight that we report that former Hibs defender Sol Bamba has passed away.
The former Dunfermline, Cardiff City, Leicester City, Middlesbrough, Leeds United and Hibee, amongst others, has died just aged 39.
Former Ivory Coast international Bamba had been working as Technical Director for Turkish side Adanaspor and was taken to hospital yesterday after falling ill.
Bamba bravely beat Cancer back in 2021.
He played 80 times for Hibs and scored 4 goals.
Our thoughts are with his wife, kids and family at this time.
