The Edinburgh Evening News are reporting that young Hibs left back Josh Doig is attracting interest from English Championship side Sheffield United.
Doig, 20, who was linked with the likes of Man City, Arsenal, Leeds United, AC Milan and Celtic last summer is wanted by former flop Hibs boss Paul Heckingbottom - now in charge of the Blades.
However they will have to dig deep if they want to land the youngster, Hibs rejected a £2.8m bid from Watford last summer, and are said to be looking for £4-6m for the former Hearts youngster.
Doig was nominated for Scottish Young Player of the Year this season, and WON the accolade the season before, putting in some impressive displays for the Hibees.
Hibs are also in the strong poition of having tied the youngster to a deal until the summer of 2025.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
Josh had another good season in the green and white last season.
He started slowly after an impressive first season the year before, but has come on strong, and by the end of the season and was nominated again for Scottish Young Player of the year.
However, Sheffield United will have to dig deep into their pockets, for a player we have already rejected near £3m for.
