Hibs have tonight been handed a home draw in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup, and one that will capture the imagination of supporters across the country.
The Hibees have been drawn against Ayrshire Junior outfit Irvine Meadow at Easter Road.
Irvine Meadow have already beaten Brora Rangers, Selkirk & Arbroath in this season’s competition, and fully deserve their trip to Edinburgh.
Hibs will be massive favourites in the tie, but with some 2,000 supporters expected to follow Irvine Meadow to Easter Road, it should be cracking atmosphere.
The game is due to play on Saturday 9th January with a 3pm kick off.
