Hibs have today revealed that midfielder Scott Allan has left the club.
The 30-year-old leaves the Hibees after 3 spells in the green and white that seen him become a massive favourite at Easter Road.
Allan first joined in 2014 from Birmingham City, after the Hibees beat of competition from Rangers for his signature.
His form was sensational and it earned him a £400,000 move to Celtic, after Hibs rejected numerous tinpot bids from Rangers for his signature.
However his spell with Celtic didn't work out and he soon found himself out on loan with Rotherham and Dundee, before Hibs managed to get him back to Edinburgh on loan.
Hibs the re-signed Allan on a pre-contract three-year-deal in 2019.
Scott has gone on to make 129 appearances for the club, scoring 17 goals.
HIBS-MAD VIEW;
This one was expected, Scott had fallen way down the pecking order at ER.
He was an outstanding player for the Hibees, until his health issues took a massive toll on his career.
Wherever he ends up next, Hibs-Mad would like to thank him for his contribution to the club.
A cracking little player. Thanks Scott.
