Hibs striker Steven Fletcher was on target tonight as Scotland U21's thumped their Lithuanian counterparts at the Leith San Siro.

Scotland opened the scoring through the outstanding Ross McCormack of Motherwell after 44 minutes, after a cut back from Hibs' Steven Fletcher.

Former Celtic and Dundee Utd youngster Charlie Mulgrew, now at Wolves, added a second just a few minutes later, to send the young Scots 2-0 up at half time after more excellent work by McCormack set up the chance.

Scotland continued to dominate with Ross McCormack, Stevie Naismith and Hibees striker Steven Fletcher the main threats to Lithuania.

McCormack also rattled the crossbar with a long range curling effort, before Steven Fletcher put the result beyond doubt.

The on form Hibs hitman picked the ball up 20 yards out before turning his marker and firing the ball flying past the keeper and in to the bottom corner.

Hibs youngsters Ross Campbell, Lewis Stevenson and Kevin McCann also played some part in the game.
