Misfit Hibs goalkeeper Zibi Malkowski could be finally set to leave Easter Road this summer.

The 30-year-old has spent the last year and a half away from Easter Road, out on loan after a disastrous spell in the Hibs goals.

Zibi still has one year left on his Hibs contract, but it is thought Mixu Paatelainen is keen to see him head for the exit door.

Ross County gaffer Derek Adams has confirmed his interest in the keeper by saying:

"I have spoken to Hibs and he is a player we are interested in, but I have not spoken to the player.

"Hibs have not made a decision on him yet".

Zibi spent the latter part of the 2006/07 season on loan at doomed Gretna in their successful First division campaign, playing eight times, after Gretna keeper Alan Main was dropped by the Borders club for signing a pre-contract agreement with St Johnstone.

Malkowski returned to Hibs at the start of this campaign, only to find himself sent back out on loan for the season, this time to SPL side Inverness Caledonian Thistle, as a back up keeper.

He has only played three times for
Inverness this season.
