English based Businessman Richard Skellet has become the latest party linked with a takeover bid for Hibs.
Skellet is said to be keen to lead a fan backed takeover bid, in an attempt to get Tom Farmer to sell the club to him.
Rumours are also circulating round Edinburgh that, off all the proposals put to him so far, Tom Farmer prefers Skellet to the other interested consortium.
Farmer has already recieved bids from two different consortiums attempting to take control of the club, one lead by former Hibs midfielder Paul Kane, and the other fronted by Glasgow based investor David Low, backed by investors from America and Ireland.
There is also said to be another 2-3 intereted groups waiting in the wings, keeping an eye on the situation.
Skellet is the head honcho for Allied Worldwide International and was apparently brought up a Hibee.
He is said to have made his fortune in IT.
Another name added to a growing list of possible new owners for Hibernian Football Club.
