Hibs have today won their first pre-season game of the summer, with a victory in Fife.
The Hibees ran out comfortable 2-0 winners against a plucky East Fife side.
Roughly 500 Hibs supporters made the trip across the bridge to see goals from Ivan Sproule and Tim Clancy.
Ivan Sproule opened the scoring, before new boy Clancy scored a sublime free kick to seal the win.
Midfielder Isaiah Osbourne was the stand-out for the Hibees in midfield, he had an excellent game.
Ex Hearts defender Alan Maybury got a run out, but there was no sign of fellow trialist Mark Kerr, with rumours circulating amongst the travelling Hibees support that the former Aberdeen and Dundee Utd man had failed to impress Pat Fenlon and had left the club.
Hibs starting line-up was:
Williams. Clancy, McPake, Stephens, Hanlon, Sproule, Claros, Stevenson, Doyle, Wotherspoon.
Subs:
Booth, Maybury, Monaghan, Stanton, Osbourne, Kujabi, Handling, Caldwell, Antel.
