Hibs boss Neil Lennon has today revealed that he won't be offering Jermaine Pennant a deal at Easter Road.
Former Liverpool winger Pennant, 34, has been on trial with the Hibees over the last few weeks, and played in pre-season friendlies against Dunfermline, Berwick & Sunderland, but has failed to land a contract.
However, Lennon didn't blow the idea completely out the water.
Speaking after today's Betfred Cup win over Montrose, he said:
“There’s nothing for Jermaine Pennant at the minute but we might review it later on.
“We were pleased with what he brought but we have prioritised other positions.”
