Hibs have been handed a boost, with the news that midfielder Lewis Stevenson has signed a new deal with the club.
The Hibs Supporters' Player of the Year has triggered a 1 year extension to his current deal, by hitting 30 games, which was included in his last contract.
Stevenson, 24, has been the Hibees best player this season, and has been influential as the club landed itself a date with destiny on May 19th at Hampden against Hearts in the 2012 Scottish Cup Final.
Stevenson broke through the Hibees famous youth academy in 2005 and went on to be named man-of-the-match in the 5-1 2007 Scottish League Cup Final win over Kilmarnock, at just 18 years of age.
He has now played over 130 games for the Hibees, and has also been capped 8 times for Scotland U21's.
