Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths has today revealed that he would like to extend his loan with the Hibees beyond January.
The Scotland U21 star is due to return to Molineux after the Hibees Scottish Cup clash with Cowdenbeath, but speaking to the club's official website, "Sparky" revealed that he would love to stay until the end of the season.
The lifelong Hibee said:
"I've not heard anything about it yet. I've just got to wait to find out if the new manager wants to keep me.
"If not then Cowdenbeath could be my last game. But we just need to play it by ear and see how things go when the manager comes in.
"If I manage to impress him enough to keep me then I'd be delighted to stay.
"It has been great being able to spend time with my family and long may it continue."
Griffiths has so far scored 3 goals in 9 games since arriving in the summer on an initial six month loan deal.
