Ross County have tonight confirmed that Hibs winger Ivan Sproule has joined the Staggies.
Sproule joins the Highlanders on a free transfer after agreeing a termination of the final 6 months of his deal at Easter Road.
The Northern Ireland international was in his second spell after returning to the club 18 months ago from Bristol City.
Ross County boss Derek Adams was delighted to capture the 31-year-old speed merchant, speaking to the official County website, he said:
"I'm delighted to have brought Ivan to the Club. He adds another dimension for us as an out and out winger, and I'm pleased that the deal has been completed in time for him to join the team as we head for a warm weather training camp."
Sproule made over 120 games for the Hibees scoring 20 goals, over his two spells at the club.
His first spell at Easter Road was definately his best. He joined in 2005 from Northern Irish side Institute for a paltry £5,000.
He went on to be a sensation at the club, but it nearly didn't happen for him.
Sproule was dissapointed at being seen as a "super sub" and Hibs had agreed a £10,000 transfer back to his homeland with Glentoran.
Hibs then played Rangers at Ibrox on the Saturday, which was to be Sproule's last game, and with the game tied at 0-0 with 30 minutes left, the youngster stepped off the bench to score a hat-trick that secured a 3-0 win for Hibs.
Sproule went on to become a sensation in a Hibs shirt and a huge fans favourite, with even Uefa Cup opponents Dnipro offering £1m for him, after he had ran them ragged over two legs in 2005.
He was also part of the Hibees 2007 Scottish League Cup winning side, after they beat Kilmarnock 5-1 in the final at Hampden.
He eventually left Edinburgh in 2007, and signed for Championship side Bristol City in a £500,000 deal, before his return in 2011.
Hibernian-Mad would like to wish Ivan and his family all the very best for the future, you will always be welcome down Leith wee man.
