According to reports in today's tabloids, Hibs winger Ivan Sproule is close to signing for Ross County.
The Northern Ireland internationalist, who is currently in his second spell at Easter Road, has agreed an 18 month deal with the Staggies, managed by former Hibs No.2 Derek Adams.
Sproule, 31, is currently in talks with the Hibees to rip up the remaining 5 months of his contract with the club, and Adams expects to tie him down once a deal is agreed.
It had been thought that Sproule would join St Johnstone as part of a deal to take Liam Craig to Easter Road, but Saints boss Steve Lomas is thought to have pulled the plug.
Hibs are said to have agreed a pre-contract with the Saints midfieler to sign on at Easter Road in the summer, but it was hoped Lomas would accept Sproule as part of a swap deal to land Craig permanently during the January transfer window.
Over his two spells at Easter Road, Sproule has played over 120 games and scored 20 goals.
