It's been revealed today that Ipswich Town winger Josh Carson is training with Hibs.
The 20-year-old has been told he can leave the East Anglian club, and he has spent the last few days training at the Hibees East Mains Training Facility.
Manager Pat Fenlon has targeted the Northern Ireland internationalist as he looks to add some much needed pace and creativity to the Easter Road squad.
Carson has played nearly 40 games for the Portman Road club, and scored 6 times.
He has also spent a short time out on loan with York City.
Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy confirmed that Hibs are interested, he said:
“He went to Notts County, played an Under-21 game for them, has come back here and now Hibs (Hibernian) are interested to have a look apparently. He is available to go from here.”
The former Ballymena youngster has been capped at U16, 17, 18, 19, 21 and full international level.
