Hibs have today handed a trial to IFK Göteborg keeper Marcus Sandberg.
The keeper will train at the Hibees East Mains training facility this week, in an attempt to impress boss Alan Stubbs.
The 6ft 3in 24-year-old is regarded as No.2 with his club, but has played nearly 60 times Göteborg.
Sandberg also had a loan spell out with Ljungskile SK, playing nearly 30 games
IFK Director Mats Gren said:
“Marcus has received an okay from us to go over and participate in a number of practice sessions this week. What it results in remains to be seen."
Sandberg is capped at U19 & U21 level for Sweden.
